Our general organisation

After having set up the theoretical part of the expedition, we are now tackling one of the most concrete subjects of this dossier, namely: the organisation. Between the material, the budget and the financing, we show you a substantial part of our work, essential for the good progress of our research and the expedition.

Our general organisation

After having set up the theoretical part of the expedition, we are now tackling one of the most concrete subjects of this dossier, namely: the organisation. Between the material, the budget and the financing, we show you a substantial part of our work, essential for the good progress of our research and the expedition.

It is after many tests and a good experience on the bike that we were able to anticipate the organization and the needs of our equipment. It has been designed to be as versatile as possible. We want to find a balance between the visual simplicity of the equipment, its comfort and its technicality. We will therefore go for solid and modern but sober material. Moreover, we want the majority of the mechanical parts to be easily bought and changed everywhere.

The itinerary

The itinerary is divided into five parts, over five years. The idea is to experiment on the spot and gather information. The route follows the major axes of the Silk Roads, littered with stone architectural treasures. Each year, a return to France is planned in order to progress with the team and our partners on the study and the field analysis.

The budget

In order to carry out the expedition and the resulting study, the association will have to cover a number of costs related to its management. For example, each team position will be subject to various expenses such as air tickets for photographers, the purchase or rental of a storage space to house the team's equipment, archives and documents. In addition, we need to plan a large medical and emergency budget to leave in the best possible conditions.
