On the road, video conferences will be set up. This will allow us to share our progress on the journey as well as on the study. On our return to France, once a year, we will organise events, meetings and exhibitions, allowing us to present the progress of the study to you and to let you discover the profession of stonemason through the expedition and its international vision.

Audio and written productions

The aim of the Stone Route is to make the results of the expedition accessible to a wide public and to give a current image of the stonemasonry profession. To this end, we are putting in place several simple projects that will allow a better understanding of the profession, its know-how and its present state. Thus it is through a series of podcasts that our team has decided to give the microphone to the voices of the men of the stone. Also, every month, we write a newsletter to share the progress and news of the study. Around these main achievements, we will most certainly be led to create other media, notably written, to share our results.

The main outcome of the expedition. As explained in detail in part five, this study will provide an overview of the stonemasonry profession in the Eurasian area today. To carry out this project, data will be collected in the field (tools, interviews, photos, etc.). In order to be able to share this data in the short and medium term, various ideas for transcriptions have emerged as the project progresses. Thus, it is planned to carry out (depending on the data and funding collected).

International exchanges

In the long term, and therefore at the end of the expedition, one of the team's deepest desires would be to set up international exchanges.

The expedition is a direct way to link the stone world together. By being on site and being able to work from different countries, the project can create multiple small and large scale programmes to bring together professionals and students from Eurasia.
